Worried about your drinking?Taking the below steps will set you in the right direction.
01
Get the measure of your drinking
If you want to know how your drinking measures up, or if you are concerned you are drinking too much, the first step is to take our free alcohol test.

Maybe you’re here because a friend or family member, or even you doctor suggested that you should be thinking about your drinking.
The alcohol test
will score you objectively, tell you how your drinking measures up and indicate if you need to think about some next steps.

Having an assessment
If you’d like support then an assessment is the best way to get the help you need to change your drinking.

Our specialist staff can help you get to the bottom of your relationship with alcohol and work in partnership with you and your loved ones to recommend goals that are right for you (or help you reach the goals you may already have).
You can have an assessment at either of our New Beginnings locations:
- 97 Cobbold Road, London, NW10 9SU
- Willesden Centre for Health, Harlesden Road, London NW10 3RY
If you're under 24 and live or study in Brent, then we have a specialist Young People's service
that you can access.

Worried about someone else?
It can be hard to know what to do or what to say to a loved one if you're concerned about their drinking.
The first thing to think about is how to approach your friend or family member - the best way is with sensitivity and empathy.
